Agia Fotia is a very small place with a few houses, one small supermarket and a few tavernas, where you can enjoy a nice dinner on a warm summer’s evening. Agia Fotia lies in one of the nicest bays on the South-East coast of Crete. The bus station is just 500 metres away from beach, at the top of the bay; here you can catch the bus to Ierapetra or Sitia. A car in this location is highly recommended. In Ierapetra you can find a larger supermarket and an ATM machine.The beach of Agia Fotia is one of the most beautiful in the whole Crete. The combination between the sea and the mountain will amaze you. The beach is been awarded, by the European Community, with the Blue Flag. That means clean water and clean coast. The beach is organized, so there are umbrellas and sun beds which you can rent. Our traditional annual beach volley tournament, in July, attracts more participants and spectators each year.

The beach AGIA FOTIA  is a tiny  beach with sand and pebbles, which is on the ambits of the Ierapetras Municipality, about 10km from the Ierapetra town and near to the national road Ierapetra - Sitia and easy to be accessed.  It is a peaceful, isolated and clean beach, far from the crowded places, an ideal place to enjoy the sea. Agia Fotia beach has the needed equipment for the visitors, like deck chairs, shower, wooden walkways, ramps, access and parking for the unable persons.  There are hotels and rent-rooms near the beach and is 1 km away from the village Ferma where are cars and bikes rent. There are not sport facilities near the beach .
